KOH KER UNESCO World Heritage Site

You'll explore the further temples of Koh Ker Group which was abandoned for centuries to the forests of the north. Koh Ker was the capital of the Khmer Empire from AD 928 to AD 944 and it was for a long time one of Cambodia's most remote and inaccessible temple complex. The principal monument at Koh Ker is Prasat Thom, a 55m-wide and 40m-high pyramid with seven tiers. On September 17, 2023, the World Heritage Committee officially recognized the Koh Ker archaeological site as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
